I received an open box GTX 1650 from a friend last week. After swapping my GT 1030 and adding the GTX 1650, I frequently see black screens, particularly when launching apps immediately after power-on. I mentioned this to him but he claimed it worked fine during his test. He suggested possible contact problems from my old motherboard and heavy GPU, recommending a support bracket might help. I printed one myself, yet the issue persisted. I’m confident it’s unrelated to the PSU or HDMI cable. Notes: 1. No PSU problem 2. No HDMI cable issue Model: Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H (LGA 1150) CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1230V3 (Stock Cooler) GPU: MSI Ventus XS GTX 1650 600W PSU

For updating a GPU, use DDU. Display Driver Uninstaller. Look up the download on Google and install it. Follow the instructions to ensure a clean setup.

Cleaned drivers and reinstalled, but still crashed during the first boot. Monitoring will continue for the next few days.

I have reinstalled the drivers again but it keeps crashing several times. After trying on my brother's machine it worked perfectly for a month. Thinking it was just a motherboard problem, the card fit much tighter on his rig.
