I assembled my computer yesterday and it worked fine, getting started in BIOS. Everything displayed properly, so I was set to launch Windows using the USB drive with the Windows Media Creation Tool. When I attempted to save and exit, it would loop back to BIOS each time. I also tried updating the BIOS settings, though that felt risky given my inexperience. Now the machine won’t boot into BIOS and is stuck on a black screen with a blinking underscore. I’m confused about what to do next and unsure if these specs will actually make a difference.

This caught your attention. It wasn’t just the media creation tool EXE that was sent to the USB, was it? You should launch the tool inside Windows with the USB connected—it will fetch the ISO and prepare the drive so it boots up.

Sure, I tried that earlier with the Windows 10 ISO before deleting it and using the media creation tool. It might have helped with the black screen issue, but it could also relate to the "stuck on BIOS" problem. Let me know if you need more details.

Just reset the initial section. Disconnect the power supply and remove the battery. Reinsert it after about a minute, then restart the PSU and power on. After entering BIOS, press F10 to save changes, exit, and boot from USB. It will handle the process automatically if no other installation appears on the drives.

Thanks a lot, I'll give it a shot when I'm back home from work.
