Hello everyone, I've been away from this forum for a while. My Oculus Quest 1 from 2019 has been around for a long time. It worked fine for my needs and I enjoyed using it. I even upgraded to the Quest 3s when I wanted an improvement. I still keep the older model for parties and travel. Recently, I started getting a black screen—no display at all. When I charge it fully and turn it on, nothing appears. I can still interact with menus and hear sounds, but I can't see anything. I've searched online but haven't found any solutions. Could anyone assist me?

It appears the issue may involve either the flat cable or the display. The cable might have been damaged or dropped, while the display could also be affected. Please confirm if it was dropped or misplaced.

I haven’t placed it down much lately. The only damage happened when I bumped into its side once. That was four years back.

It seems the issue isn't with the video source itself. Checking if it works on a computer or external monitor could clarify whether the problem lies in the display or the connection.
