Bitrate issues are present, yet the connection remains stable.
I've been streaming for a while now and haven't faced any problems for a long time. However, suddenly my bitrate started dropping randomly, sometimes falling between 4000 and 6000 kb/s, while my laptop consistently maintained around 7000 kb/s. Even when using Wi-Fi, it never fell below 6950 kb/s. I've also tried NDI, but it's unstable for games like Apex Legends. A USB Wi-Fi dongle helped a bit, but didn't solve the issue. Anyone else experiencing this? Do you know if it might be related to my motherboard?
Let me clarify a few details. Are you referring to the motherboard, or is this about a network problem? Could you share the make and model of the board? Do you have the most recent drivers from the manufacturer? I’m also curious why you’re choosing WiFi over Ethernet for streaming and gaming—what connection type are you using and what speeds do you have? What network devices are you employing, and how are they performing?
Thanks for your reply. I researched a different topic about slow upload speeds on my computer and discovered someone who had a solution. This also improved my upload speed noticeably, and after adjusting the setting, my performance is now excellent. We currently pay for 200mb/s down and 20mb/s up, but I’m seeing 90mb/s down and 30mb/s up. Interestingly enough. Before making changes, I was only getting about 12mb/s upload with the Ethernet cable connected.
