Hey, your uncle is stuck because BitLocker is blocking access without a recovery key. Restarting the PC might help reset the encryption, and then opening Command Prompt could let you try recovery options. If unsure, contacting support for further assistance would be wise.

The recovery key is saved automatically in his Microsoft-connected system account. Direct Link: https://account.microsoft.com/devices/re...rosoft.com. Without a Microsoft account or access, he risks losing everything. The BitLocker encryption is extremely secure.
