You're considering whether to dive into Bioshock Infinite right away or play the earlier titles first. It depends on your preferences—some enjoy the depth of Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinite, while others prefer the earlier games for their unique experiences.

I understand the second version has mixed feedback, but the first one is definitely worth trying. Infinite stands out as one of the top games I've ever enjoyed. You might not need to play the other two to get a good experience. There are some mentions of the earlier titles, but you won't miss much overall.

You just received Bioshock from Gamers Gate, but the audio stops after the intro.

It's a common opinion that Bioshock 1 stands out compared to Bioshock Infinite. Many believe it's a worthwhile experience to explore initially.

it's simply a straightforward shoot 'em up, quickly losing its appeal soon after. the original offered a richer narrative while the other two provided an enjoyable and unique fighting experience.

In my view, Bioshock 1 delivers a solid gaming experience. The sequel wasn’t terrible, though it didn’t quite match the quality of the first. I haven’t tried Infinite yet, so I can’t offer an opinion there.

Infinite was amazing, I really liked it and the plot was solid. I played the other two, but they felt dull or tedious. I progressed a lot on the first one and mostly skipped the second.

I haven't experienced Bioshock 2 yet, so I can't offer any thoughts on it. However, I strongly suggest starting with Bioshock 1.
