I've looked through many sources but haven't found a clear solution. My Acer Aspire Z3771 has an AIO i5 2400 with an Intel NVIDIA GT1030 and 8G DDR3 memory running Windows 10. I'm trying to upgrade the BIOS in a last resort, hoping it will let me disable integrated graphics and rely solely on the GT1030. There are some options listed, but I'm unsure if updating to UEFI from Legacy is possible using the drivers available on the Acer update page. The documentation mentions a UEFI BIOS for Windows 8, though it specifies it's not for upgrades. It seems confusing, and any guidance would be greatly appreciated. All the key details are noted below.

No unofficial BIOS updates are available. The information you saw on Acer's site reflects the current situation. Applying an unofficial update could damage your system.

Regarding the BIOS not supporting upgrades, you’d need to reach out to Acer for clarification. I haven’t seen a BIOS release restrict the operating system you can install.
