hello everyone, i recently switched my motherboard to an ASROCK H81 PRO BTC and it's currently running bios version 1.8. i’m planning to upgrade to windows 10 but noticed that updating the bios to 1.9 or higher is necessary. many sources suggest that upgrading to 1.9 will turn off the oc option in the bios. i’ve been waiting and now i’m unsure whether to go with the latest bios 2.10 or 2.0. will the 2.0 and 2.10 versions still include the oc option? thanks. i’m using an intel pentium g3258.
Probably not. For official OC help, you should have really purchased a Z97 board.
Cool, I bought this since I have a very tight budget.
I plan to upgrade my PC sometimes in the future (hopefully soon if they increase the minimum wage to $10/hr).
But is it really possible to support OC at P2.10?
I don't think so. In fact, I suggest waiting until Easter before updating to Windows 10. Are you using Windows 7 or Windows 8.1?
