The BIOS on your Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 motherboard displays black squares, and mouse icons vanish during movement. The appearance resembles the image you saw online. Replacing RAM slots hasn't resolved the problem.

It works best when I check the bios section, allowing me to start Windows without seeing any black screens.

Re-flashing the system could be beneficial. However, I wouldn't stress too much since it's limited to the bios section, and you can still operate it after deleting the squares using your mouse.
