I bought an ASUS Prime X-570 Pro hoping to upgrade to a 5900X when they became available. They were marketed as "AMD 5000 series ready," but I wasn’t aware they needed a BIOS flash to function properly. I didn’t notice a BIOS version listed, and I’m certain I need at least version 2606 from August 17 or later. I’m a bit puzzled since some boards can update the BIOS without touching the CPU. Is this board able to do that? What options should I consider so I can use it once I get the CPU?
