I recently purchased a new M.2 slot, and the system now accepts it properly—everything is functioning again! (Great news!) I’m puzzled about why my previous M.2 stopped working after reinstalling Windows and updating firmware; any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I faced the same issue too, just moved the slot to the lower position instead of the one above the graphics card.
