Hello everyone, based on your message, you're looking for a multiplayer game to try out online. Since both titles are on sale and you mentioned Crysis is a bit outdated, it's worth checking if either still has active communities or servers. As for Blacklight:Retribution, it's the only FPS you currently play, so it might be a good starting point. Let me know your thoughts!

BF4, seems like you're questioning if C3 still has any MP remaining.

I’m not sure since I just bought Crysis 3 and haven’t tried the online version yet. The BF4 servers seem really inactive, and I haven’t played in about six months. Most servers I find are filled with hackers, and only a few have active players.

Never played Crysis 3, but I dedicated 400 hours to Battlefield 4 and really enjoyed it.

I've been playing BF4 for a year now and it remains enjoyable with a large community around it.

Few servers exist, yet certain gaming groups maintain a solid and consistent player base. (This might apply mainly to turn-based and conquest titles)

Both titles have low activity, yet they remain fairly comparable. F4 generally maintains several active and consistently busy servers, while C3 is decent but not as strong.
