Recently playing BF4 was fine, but now I’m trying to launch it and keep getting that error. My drivers are all up to date, nothing changed on my system since the last session, and the game hasn’t been updated. I really need Mantle to work properly with DirectX for me—it’s not playable at around 30 FPS on low settings, with frequent drops, but with Mantle it runs smoothly at 30-40 FPS. Please help, as I can’t reach EA support until Monday.

Attempt to fix the game as well. Cards from AFAIK may not work properly on a R9 280 with mantle in BF4.

Attempted fixes and continued using the mantle with my HD 8570 after launch. It performed poorly on dx11, making it difficult to play the game.
