It seems the situation isn’t fully resolved yet. Using nVidia’s 347.88 WHQL drivers might offer better stability compared to the 350.12 version, though they still cause issues during intense moments like combat. My thought is it could be related to my CPU clock settings. The 4670k is designed for overclocking, but I’m not sure if I should proceed with that change.

I don't have access to your current in-game settings. Could you please check and let me know what they are?

They said it might be my "bad" original character. I haven’t created this CPU before, and I’m not sure if I should. A 3.4GHz clock speed isn’t great, but it shouldn’t lead to issues like this.

Adjust your system settings and observe the results. It might be a faulty configuration somewhere, and you could be experiencing thermal throttling. Check your temperatures to confirm.

Avoiding thermal throttling, plan to default BIOS tomorrow.
