Hey everyone, I understand the situation. I use a keyboard and mouse, but this is for my siblings who play on the console and don’t want to switch to a keyboard or mouse. We’re having trouble getting the controller layout to function properly in BF3 or BF4. It looks like some actions aren’t available for controller users on PC. I managed to install everything without MotionJoy, but there’s no default setup from EA. I’ve tried many configurations, but nothing matches the console experience. For instance, sprint only lasts half a second and then stops. There’s no way to crouch or prone without losing button access for reloads, and I can’t find any spots for spotting or similar features. Do anyone have a good reference or a downloadable profile I can adjust for their PCs? I have two official PS3 controllers and one Afterglow, if that helps. I don’t have any wired Xbox controllers, which is why I’m not setting it up for them. Thanks! P.S. Please don’t focus too much on console or PC debates—just remember they’re different.

Yes, it provides the XBOX 360 controller layout. To make it function properly, you used a compatible adapter or software to translate the controller signals.

I believed my post retained the video link (edited OP). I used this video to get the controllers working, but it doesn<|pad|> to show a layout at all. All controller entries remain blank. I attempted the "reset" option in case it would apply default settings, though no changes occurred there.

I rely on this tool and it functions flawlessly. All aspects are operating correctly. http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wr...Controller

I'm also using it, though no standard layout was provided for the PS3 controller.

The device functions correctly. Did you connect it using a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port?

It functions properly, though the arrangement is quite unusual and makes it difficult to use. I’m not confident there are any 3.0 ports on the device, and testing all available ports hasn’t changed the outcome.
