It seems KB&M offers a significant edge over controllers for infantry roles, especially in air-to-air scenarios. For jets and helicopters, the same applies—air combat favors it, while ground engagements benefit from its versatility. Regarding helicopter skills, focus on stability, quick reflexes, and practicing takeoffs/landings to improve performance.

I enjoyed helicopters with KB&M, attaching the nose high for fast maneuvers and low for quick turns. The mouse helped with accurate targeting, and the controls worked well for jets as well, though it was used in BF4 instead of BF3.

When I play in BF3/4 I ram, but in BF2 I'd smash the chopper into the building to take out the comms.

Infantry kb/mouse is generally preferred. If you outperform typical PC players with a controller, it's fine to try it. For flying, jets perform better with controllers or joysticks. You can execute tighter maneuvers with them. I've spent more time with kb/mouse, so adapting to a controller feels challenging for me. Choppers are a mixed case—excellent pilots often favor the joystick, but many still use kb/mouse.

I mainly rely on a PS3 controller inside the game but use some pedals for the rudder since it feels more natural. I find it simpler to control with them, and I also use them for turning. It seems like a personal choice rather than something dictated by KB+mouse or a standard controller.

Thank you for your feedback. I understand—using the controller would be best for now. I’ll keep that in mind.
