There isn’t a clear agreement on whether the deluxe edition is worth it. Many players are considering the premium pass once the first map pack becomes available, but right now they’re just starting with the base deluxe version and wondering if the extra cost is justified.

Deluxe contains Premium features. For long-term plans beyond a year, purchase Premium separately. Otherwise, opt for the base game without Premium or expansions.

That's not what I meant. You seem to be referring to the final version.

I’d purchase the regular version first, then upgrade to the Premium Pass once it’s released. https://www.battlefield.com/games/battlefield-1/premium

Planning to take that path now... curious about handling the origin or reseller process.

I notice some positive signs, though there are also many 'nah' responses. It seems like the situation involves some G2A expectations based on what I understand.

There’s some disagreement there; G2A isn’t ideal, they might not take your money, but they don’t work properly. https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/wiki/keyresellers There’s a lot of information about stolen keys being taken from G2A.

It doesn’t concern me; they openly back those who steal and make a living from them. They’ll swap lost keys if you hand them more cash—just because they seem eager to sell and advertise this way is a major warning sign.
