You clearly understand the matter and are prepared to act as though you didn’t care much. There are several spreadsheets available for review: https://forums. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1.../htmlview# Another one here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...=639584818 Also found on forums: https://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/f1...55146.html And another thread: https://forum.level1techs.com/t/x570-and...nfo/144608 These resources cover most AM4 motherboards and their capabilities. For top overclocking options on AM4, the most expensive x570 boards tend to be the best. The Asrock x570 Aqua stands out. The Gigabyte Aorus xtreme offers a robust 16-phase VRM design, which should enhance overclock performance for any CPU. Note that this doesn’t mean cheaper boards lack effective VRM solutions. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/giga...-x...7s-gi.html
In fact, I genuinely prefer you to proceed as you wish, as long as it stays respectful and follows the rules. Keep the conversation civil and focused on what matters. If it doesn’t, I’ll stop engaging.
I have an Asus Rog Strix x470 with a Ryzen 2700x, and it came with a stable base OC to 4.3. However, since components and cooling solutions vary, it might not work perfectly for everyone. I believe this board is a great value, affordable, and offers some fun overclocking possibilities. After trying everything, I decided to revert to level 3 BIOS auto OC because the heat and fan noise weren’t worth the small real-world gains. Benchmarks were decent, but in-game performance wasn’t much better. If I manage to hit 120 or 125 FPS, my old eyes won’t notice...

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X OC with x470-F achieves 4.34-4.44GHz and 1.39-1.47 volts per core voltage. VRM temperatures remain at 70°C.
