watercooling or air cooler? A high-end aircooler would be better for an old CPU. If you have space, consider the Noctua NH-D15; otherwise, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO offers a cheaper option. When testing a new cooler, aim for 3.8ghz or 3.9ghz with 1.35v vcore and 1.212v vtt. For higher speeds, you'll need 1.36v for 4ghz and 1.4v for 4.15ghz (i7-875k).
