You mentioned the option you were instructed to boost by more than 200, but it wasn't found. Let me check my MSI BIOS for you.

You're being rushed into a quick training session that usually requires much more testing and study.

You're asking if the provided settings are sufficient for optimal performance without needing more adjustments, and whether they would result in a quieter or cooler system.

If that was stable would be surprising. In my dreams, my 5800x stays solid across every situation with a flat -25 all cores and +200 lol. FreeAgent is right about it, but they’re making it sound much simpler than it really is. I didn’t waste most of an afternoon tweaking Corecycler to adjust each core.

Is that +200 the CPU boost setting? @freeagent It seems the stress tester doesn’t require much tweaking—just start with the default options. For some devices, adjusting settings might be necessary.

Looks like the adjustments have significantly lowered my CPU temperature and fan activity during UASG, which usually wouldn’t happen. Performance seems to have improved too << Could be a placebo effect

The Curve Optimizer delivers impressive results—reduced power consumption, cooler components, and faster performance. But what method did you use to evaluate it?

The adjustments you made are the ones I used for your 5900X at high speeds. Now I run it at lower RPMs. I’m also using those settings for my 5600X since I lost the notes. It’s stable with a +150 boost at 4800MHz, but I haven’t clocked the MEMS yet—it’s handled by the kids. My build is considered a bit of a challenge, but it’s almost finished. Could end up with a 5900X3D eventually. Edit: I almost bought a 5950X though. Ugh.

I encountered an unusual problem recently. After changing back to the default PBO settings in BIOS for testing in games, I switched it back using your original settings. Now I’m facing BSODs and system restarts when opening Windows. Resetting to default PBO settings resolved the issue. It seems like a good idea to stop modifying settings that aren’t working.

It seems like you're saying something about needing adjustments. Could you clarify what you mean?
