Hello my wife and I are beginning a family, which means I don’t have space for a complete PC. I’m exploring gaming laptops that fit my budget. I’m open to spending between $1500 and $2000.

My budget ranges from 1500 to 2000 and I'm planning to play Rainbow Six Siege, Escape from Tarkov, Code, and Dying Light. I don't need to run the game at maximum settings, but whatever works best will be smooth. It doesn't matter the size since I have a monitor connected. I've considered Omen, MSI, ASUS ROG Strix, and Allianeware. I want to keep the laptop running for a while, with battery life being important, but I'll probably stay plugged in.

It seems any model with a 5070 Ti will likely move out of the price bracket. The 5070 should be your best bet for a video card unless you spot a closeout or refurb on a 4080. If performance is your priority instead of battery life, AMD or Intel HX CPU options are probably what you should consider.
