Rift, Guild Wars 2, and Tera are all consistently recommended as having strong communities and engaging gameplay with subscription options. They tend to have active player bases and regular content updates.
Since you'll be getting a dedicated GPU, planetside 2 would now be playable for you. It’s a great game. I think there can be up to 1000 players on one server or something like that. It's awesome.
Check out Dragon’s Prophet. It’s free to play and you get to train and ride dragons and also do standard MMORPG type stuff.
Starbound and Terraria aren't free and are mmorpgs, more based on survival, but they are so much fun.
