Best Distro of Linux
It varies based on your goals, knowledge level, and the tools you prefer. Remember, there are more than 1,000 Linux distributions, each with pros and cons. Personally, I run Gentoo on x86 and x86_64 systems and raspbian on ARM, but I stick to Linux only for server tasks. For personal use, I prefer Windows 10.
I need a quick and simple operating system, not heavy software like Windows. I prefer Lubuntu because it's light and supports Java. Mostly I use it for browsing the web and managing files. Linux works great, and I don’t need Windows at all.
Ubuntu (any release, any starting letter) feels overly large.
Find out if the most powerful Linux setup matches the heaviest desktop without appearing overloaded. Begin by launching a new Kubuntu installation with standard configurations, open one or two typical programs, capture a screenshot of the top window, and then contrast it with a comparable Windows configuration. Share your findings if you're still unsure.
This subject isn't related to Windows. Therefore, this conversation shouldn't begin there. Bloated refers to a Linux distribution that comes pre-installed with many third-party non-free or proprietary software, codecs, etc. It has no connection to resource consumption at all.
My Debian version is still hanging around. Cinnamon too. [EDIT] Dat guy was right about Ubuntu being overloaded. Debian actually works fine on a simple system.
