You're looking for a solid CPU choice for your build with a 3070, 4x8GB RAM, 3600MHz clock, 850W power supply, and a M.2 slot. Avoiding Z590 motherboards makes sense for better compatibility and performance.

What resolution are you using? Also, which games?

It really depends on the specific tasks you're planning to use it for. Generally, 6 core CPUs are sufficient for most users. Regarding your question about 4x8 versus 2x16, I'm a bit confused. The scenarios where single-rank 4x8 is useful (for performance) are quite varied, and it's hard to say without more details.

People do it to occupy spaces. They prefer a complete appearance of MB's.

Pretty much whatever you can afford, 5700x is what id reccomend though last time i saw you pretty much blew all your budget on aesthetics so i think you should just stick to a 5600 unless you can actually stretch your budget abit Also 4x8 is abhorrent but in your case i doubt youd actually care about oc so just stick with it, though have fun if you ever try overclocking it

Are you focused on gaming, video or photo editing, coding, or CAD? If gaming makes up more than half your time with this machine, the i5-11600k should work well. For tasks involving coding, CAD, or similar work, the i7-11700k is recommended. The choice for the K version comes from its overclocking capability and the Z590 board support. If you're looking for value, it's worth checking out reviews. I think Nexus gamers should find some solid testing videos for that CPU generation (10th and 11th gen) that can handle demanding workloads.

Intel CPUs are suggested for CS:GO. The 5800X3D works well overall with DDR4, while the 4x8 is ideal for dual ranked and 2x16 offers better oc, probably making it a dual ranked choice too. The 12700K was recently available at around $325.

Got it, I noticed a similar RAM option available for just a bit more than before—4000MHz C19 at 2x16GB.

I’m planning to balance gaming with schoolwork at 14, and I’m curious about the future of gaming costs—will prices stay high in five years? Also, which GPU do you prefer: ASRock Z590 Pro 4 or ASUS Prime Z590-P? My gut says ASRock since they seem to be handling their BIOS better lately.
