Uncertain about the current status of Rocket League, I recently started playing and really enjoy it. I’ve sold a few cosmetic skins for $2 each and am considering purchasing a DLC car. I’m at level 15, so I’ve had a chance to test the free versions, but I’m unsure which DLC car would be best.

The Elmo-themed toy car is an amazing creation.

I'm at level 31 and I drive Road Hog, the stock car. It's my top choice. I think Maruder looks awesome too. Both Road Hog and Maruder give me that tough vibe.

The aftershock, triton, and Masumane seem really impressive in my view. You can purchase them individually without needing other vehicles for just 2USD, and even cheaper during sales. Although I don’t particularly enjoy cosmetic DLC, I prefer sticking with the X-devil. Some imported models like the X-devil MK2 and Dominus GT are incredibly striking, but they come at a higher price.

Yes, the game has a huge fan base. If you got it recently, I wouldn’t bother purchasing any DLC right now. The majority of the DLC are additional vehicles, none of which significantly improve upon the original cars included with the game. They’re interesting in their own way, but they don’t justify the $2 per car price.

None of the vehicles stand out as superior to others. Minor variations exist in turn radius, speed, and hitbox dimensions—just a few percentage differences. Each was crafted to maintain consistency.
