I usually relied on Norton 360, so I didn’t have much concern. However, others say it slows down my computer’s performance. Are there lighter alternatives that provide similar protection?

It runs smoothly with minimal disruption, though performance is average compared to Malwarebytes.

You're currently using Microsoft Security Essentials on Windows 8+ and Malwarebytes. Upgrading to the Pro version of Malwarebytes provides enhanced real-time protection.

The top compensated antivirus is Kaspersky, while Avast offers a free version. MalwareBattery works well alongside any antivirus solution.

Norton 360 offers solid performance, though it doesn't make much of a difference. With a strong computer, it won't significantly affect your speed.

Hi there! I’m James Bond from the Microsoft Technical Department in LA. There’s a virus on your PC, and I’ll take care of it right away... though I might need to keep my tone light here 😄.

Use Malwarebytes to protect against malware. Pair it with Norton Security for virus defense. Norton Security consumes fewer resources compared to Norton 360, making it a balanced choice. Both offer strong virus detection capabilities!
