Hello! For your needs, I suggest checking out PiHole boards designed specifically for Pi devices. Since everything is wired via Ethernet at your home, these options should work well. You're looking for something more energy-efficient than your current laptop, which runs Debian with Plex, so you want a low-power solution. European delivery is also important, so make sure to verify availability in your region. Thanks and have a great day!

Banana Pi offers several solid choices (availability in euros isn't clear), just like Orange Pi. The Banana Pi M2 Zero is basically a Pi Zero W with a quad-core Allwinner H2+ and you can connect it via USB to Ethernet for a wired setup. It should still cost around $20 USD.

I also discovered another option, do you think it holds up?

The banana zero offers DDR3 over DDR2, yet its BTC spec is 4.0 instead of 4.1. Its SOC features a powerful quad-core Cortex-A7 at 1.2GHz compared to a single-core A6Z at 1GHz. With such a close match to real devices, it's encouraging for those seeking a near-perfect replica.
