I don't rely heavily on cloud services. Besides moving files to the cloud, Microsoft Office offers benefits that free options like Apache OpenOffice do not.
The only solution I see is that your wallet might be more convenient to carry, and it could also help you avoid contacting telephone marketers since you now have less money.
You're correct, but where I work (MS Office 365), there is no such thing included. If I try to insert a formula, it pops up a Windows app store -window that link to a formula editor one have to pay extra for.

? This is what I see on 365, and there's even someting labeled "Latex", but it's been 35+ years I have played with Latex...
You might be right, though it's unclear if most home users have access to that (Linux user here...). At my workplace, we use the "professional/corporate edition," and I can't include formulas unless my company covers that cost.
