You're now ready to move beyond basic setup and focus on enhancing performance. After testing with the current system, you should explore advanced configurations to ensure reliability and stability. Consider checking recommended software for stress tests and feedback, such as specific applications or tools that can help assess how your system handles load and maintain consistent operation.

The Rig's I'm working with, that I would like to overhaul for several more years—if possible—are:
ASUS Rampage Extreme x48 Motherboard with Intel's Qx9770 CPU
&
EVGA 790i Ultra (132-CK-NF79-A1) also paired with Intel's Qx9770 CPU
These two configurations are quite similar, apart from the motherboards.
Both systems run with 8GB of Corsairs Vengeance 2000MHz RAM and EVGA's GTX 460, along with a 256GB SSD at C:\ (plus extra RAID 10 storage) on a 600W power supply.
I'm thinking about replacing the graphics cards to something that can handle DX12 and help these rigs last longer, but I'm unsure what a suitable replacement would be or if I could use third-party software to fine-tune the GPU settings.
Everything is set up and optimized to its default configuration. I haven't changed any BIOS settings since I first built them.
I believe making some BIOS adjustments could improve performance, but I'm not sure how to verify stability or other factors.
