Sure, guys. I just managed to push my Ryzen 5 1600Z up to around 3900, and I'm checking the temperatures. At idle it's about 60, but during games it goes up to around 80 for a short time before settling back to 75. Are these readings normal? And are they safe for the processor's longevity? Thanks.

The temperatures are acceptable, I usually aim for around 80°C at most. Regarding CPU lifespan, voltage is more likely to shorten its life than other factors. If you can lower the voltage and maintain stability, you might extend its durability. My suggestion is to keep it under 1.45 volts; anything higher will lead to a reduction in longevity, so getting closer to 1.35v is ideal.

You didn't say about the Ryzen 5 1600 "X"? The temperatures are acceptable, but which cooler would you prefer?
