I used to play heavy console games but now I want to get back into PC gaming. I have a low-quality Dell laptop with only 4K HD graphics, which is okay for just YouTube, but I'm looking for a desktop that can handle ARK: Survival Evolved and its updated version. Someone told me this particular model should work... I found it on Best Buy's site. Since I'm a bit broke, your advice and suggestions would mean a lot to me.

You're experiencing significant performance issues with your current setup, especially at lower resolutions. The system needs more powerful hardware to handle ARK smoothly. I've only used the game for around 30 minutes due to these performance problems.

It seems like the specs are unclear and possibly misleading. The storage capacity is likely misstated (1024GB instead of 931GiB or 1,000GB), and the graphics card details don’t match typical configurations. The PCIe 16x slot being listed alongside a discrete GPU suggests a mismatch between components.

Ark operates poorly across different systems, performing poorly even on standard hardware.

I got the game just a week after it came out on Steam, but I haven’t been able to play it because it kept crashing a lot. Lol!
