I was curious if anyone knows what to do before the upgrade. Back in 1.7.10 I added a diamond trade villager since it wasn’t available later. Honestly, I’m quick at upgrading—laughs... I love building solid farms like the AFK tree farm I made. I used a signal player hand-picked seed with five spawners linked together and one witch hut. It was meant to be a top mob farm but seems to be struggling. I also set up a gold farm over the world and tried a 50x by 50x block to bedrock, aiming for a 200x by 200x area. It’ll take some time.

I’m looking for activities like God Armor or things I can’t do after upgrading. This applies to all upgrades, not just in 1.8—though I’m playing at that level right now. If there aren’t many tasks, maybe the upgrade itself is enough. New features in 1.8 don’t include diamond armor trade, slim blocks, villagers needing food for breeding, updated villager trades, zombie pigman drops for XP by being upset, ocean monument, pandas, rabbits, enchanting changes, and endermite issues. I also got a bugged God villager. (No pumpkin trade is the best.)

God Farmer 9fish 1e3, 1e3 flit steel, 18wheat, 1e3 arrows, 1e8 cooked chicken, 14raw chicken, 1e14 wool, 1e10 gravl, 1e5 flit, 1e9 melon, 1e7 apps, 1e10 cookies, bred 22wheat, 1e15 potato, 1e18 carrots, 1e3 bred pumpkins, 1e1 pumpken pie, 9 melon, 1e1 melon, 1e5 apples, 14raw chicken, 1e7 cooked chicken, 17 wool, 1e3 flit steel, 1e6 melon, 1e10 arrows, 19wheat, 1e3 sheers, 18string, 1e8 arrows, and 2e bow). Pandas wasn't available until around version 1.15. To improve your world, make a backup and then upgrade. If something goes wrong, you can revert to the previous state. However, it seems you can't fully anticipate future updates.

It's strange to see only 1.8 YouTube videos featuring pandas, right? Finding content on YouTube can be frustrating. I'm curious if there are any discussions or posts about this topic. I don't have a backup set up, so I wouldn't want to waste hours restoring progress if I had to.
