I recently acquired an 8GB DDR3 CL9 1600mhz and an i7-3770 for my old H61 motherboard. I placed both RAM sticks the day before yesterday and they functioned properly, supporting 16 gigabytes. The next morning I installed the new processor in the LGA1155 socket but it emitted a distinct "5 beeps." Was this an issue with the new CPU compared to how my previous i5-2310 performed after reinstall? Just the following day after that event, I realized I might have re-seated the RAM, and upon powering on the CPU it beeped again—this time with "4 beeps." I confirmed both RAM sticks are intact. However, when inserting another stick into DIMM_1 it beeps, while using a single channel in DIMM_2 works without problems. Is this indicating a problem with the DIMM slot or the processor? Please advise. Thank you!

It seems your profile might not reflect the latest information or may not include support for the newest Intel generations. Would you like help updating it?

I don't have a motherboard model. Can you clarify what you're asking about?
