Be Quiet! Dark Rock TF CPU cooler for i7-4770k
Hello everyone,
I was looking for a suitable air cooler for my i7-4770k after many discussions on the forum. It seemed that most AIO liquid coolers around $120 tend to be quite noisy despite their performance.
I own a quiet setup with a Corsair 330r and a 160mm cooler height clearance, so larger coolers like the Noctua D15 or D15s won’t fit.
After reading this review of the Be Quiet! Dark Rock TF cooler, I was surprised by its performance—it outperformed the Noctua D14 and D15 in terms of temperature control while being much quieter and smaller. Could this be an overly optimistic case?
Would you suggest this cooler (priced at $80) or another better option for overclocking?
this cpu cooler has received many positive reviews. it's highly recommended despite a minor issue with installation. it also looks quite stylish. cheers!
