I bought a Xeon e3 1230 v5 with a motherboard that allows adjusting the CPU's base clock. However, setting it to 110 or 105MHz causes the overclocking to fail and displays the message "last settings didn't work press f1." Anyone know why this happens?

Boosting the BCLK affects the RAM, PCIe ports, and CPU performance, which is why it should be avoided.
Overclocking a 1230 V5 isn't necessary since it's already a powerful CPU.
