Lately I switched to Windows and transferred my living room PC to Bazzite. I realized my secondary SSD, where all my games are saved, still works on Bazzite even though it was originally on Windows. However, installing Steam games keeps failing to launch. I’ve tried redownloading and various troubleshooting steps, but nothing seems to help. Anyone has any ideas or solutions to save me from redoing everything?

Joking about switching from Windows to Linux for a relaxed experience is meant to be humorous. YT media seems completely off track, treating every anti-MSNV event like it’s a simple bloom. Apologies for the lack of help—just know this is typical troubleshooting on that side of the moon. Check out the new games' fandom wiki at linux.fandom.com

It could already be active, but have you turned on Proton or Steam Play for every game in Steam?

Enable proton logging and verify the stopping point. Set PROTON_LOG=1 in the game launch settings, then execute the command. The log file is located in your user profile directory (e.g., /home/username~).

It's strange that games from a heroic launcher start working right away, whereas those from Steam don't launch properly.
