Purchased Star Wars Battlefront EA and played for a few hours; everything seemed normal until performance dropped significantly. Even in menus, frame rates hovered between 50 and 10 FPS. I've looked everywhere for fixes but haven't found a solution. Hardware specs: i7-4790k @4.00GHz, GTX 970 Strix (shown in photo). Believe it's not my system and suspect driver issues. Updated drivers yesterday.

Restart the drivers. The Nvidia setup might have become damaged (this occurred on my computer twice).

Do you think a DICE game will operate correctly?

Likely a driver-related problem, try reinstalling it.

Up until now everything is working fine, but we need to keep an eye on it. This issue appears to come and go without a clear explanation.

In short, yes. I can play this game in 1080p on my average setup. It's one of the most well-optimized games I've ever used. If issues arise again, I recommend using DisplayDriverUninstaller to remove those drivers.

The issue resurfaced, and using your program to remove it didn’t resolve the problem. I attempted to uninstall it myself, but it continued to slow down significantly.
