If you manage to get it at an extremely low cost, you can purchase it, though otherwise it’s almost unusable. I’d prefer to play Battlefield 2, Bad Company 2, 3, or 4 instead.
Cut your costs and grab the 17$ edition on G2A. Spending over 20$ is just throwing money away. It’s not a dying game—there are roughly 2-3k players at the moment, but the community is shrinking fast. The BF fans still stick with 4, which has about three times the player base of Hardline, while FPS enthusiasts are mostly focused on Battlefront or Code.
I own both Battlefront and Hardline. Hardline is no longer available. You can still play Battlefront.
