This post appeared in an article on PC Gamer, sparking immediate backlash with many questioning earlier Battlefield singleplayer content. I expected tough comments from the comments section, but it turned out to be a lot of negativity. It seems the developers are heavily drawing inspiration from titles like Far Cry, though that wasn’t the first time similar concepts appeared. In the current Military Shooter style, the early stealth segment lasting around a minute before cover fire began was surprising, especially since the video actually featured genuine stealth mechanics. If this pattern holds for the rest of the game—though that’s hard to say at the moment—it might just become an intriguing Battlefield title.
The singleplayer option looks decent, though it’s probably too brief to justify the cost. From what I’ve noticed and tried, multiplayer will likely be similar to BF4.1 with some new additions. Plus, I’m still upset about BF4 and feel they won’t get any compensation for BF:H at all.
It's really cool how two individuals armed with assault rifles respond by saying "FREEZE" and then work together.
