Hello everyone,
I understand this has likely been shared many times before, but I wanted to share it directly here. I began playing Battlefield V almost six months ago and have experienced frequent stuttering in DX12 (both single-player and multiplayer). This issue is exclusive to DX12 mode.

Here are my PC specifications:
-Ryzen 3600x @ 4.2y AIO cooled
-32GB RAM @ 3200Mhz
-installed on SSD drive
-ROG Crosshair VII hero mb
-Strix 1080Ti
I also tested the game on my brother’s PC with the same problem.

His specs:
-Ryzen 1600x @ stock
-crosshair VI hero
-16GB RAM @ 2666Mhz
-MSI GTX 1660Ti

Temperatures are normal on both systems. I tried several fixes: fresh Windows 10 installs (versions 1607–1909), no background apps, updated drivers, turned off HPET, cleared standby memory, and followed all the suggested solutions.

Before moving forward, I want to clarify that both games were legitimately purchased from Origin on separate accounts, using the deluxe edition with an Origin Premiere membership. I was wondering if there’s a way to revert the updates and then test the base version online (though I don’t condone piracy—my purchases are legal).

What do you think? Am I missing something? Could this be another EA strategy where the game becomes unplayable after updates?

In short:
- The latest build is too unstable for smooth play, especially in multiplayer every two seconds.
- The older build (from the web) works perfectly, but it’s outdated.
- In-game settings matter: 1440p, DX12, FFR off, 100% scaling.

Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated—thank you!

I mentioned in the comment that my framerate decreases noticeably when using DX12 instead of the original, so please check the post
