Hey there, I faced a similar issue with Battlefield 3 after getting it for free through Origin's On the House offer. Whenever I launch the game, I experience extremely low frame rates—sometimes as low as 1-5 frames per second—even when using the menu. It’s not due to my hardware or conflicting programs. Have anyone else encountered this problem? I’ve had enough and decided to uninstall it already; I might think about it again later.

Check the latest drivers and see if they improve performance.

It seems unclear how we can assist since you've removed it and may have given up. There might be an easy fix available for your issue.

All systems are functioning properly. I've even managed a slight performance boost. The temperatures look stable, and my FPS remains solid across most titles. The only issue is with BF3—its GPU driver is still on Catalyst 14.4.

I'm facing the same issue twice; once at 40 fps and then dropping to 1-5 fps, and nothing seems to work.

I understood I wasn't the only one... Yet... I still wanted to replay the campaign and dismantle it for what it was worth (I'm not a multiplayer player...) Everything seemed fine and I was maintaining 45-60fps at 720p (yes, I keep playing in 720p thanks to my monitor's 768p resolution). Then suddenly it started dropping—1 to 5 frames per second every single time... restarted, reinstalled drivers, checked the hardware... nothing changed. I tried other games, no issues there... ran benchmarks and got a decent score... Only this game...

It's possible your BF3 was attempting to utilize your APU rather than your GPU.

Do you have the AMD Gaming Evolved app set up? I experienced the same issue—turning it off resolved the problem. It seems the AMD overlay is interfering with the Origin overlay.

APU IGP supports BF3 at medium settings with smooth frame rates (20-40fps)... the IGP remains off via the motherboard's BIOS, which suggests it isn't active.

The track overlay isn't active right now... I need those game raffle tickets for some rewards.
