The amount of data Battlefield 1 consumes depends on your connection speed and settings. On average, a full game can use anywhere from several hundred to over a thousand megabytes per hour during continuous play. If you're using high-resolution settings or online multiplayer, usage increases significantly.

Much less than expected. Downloading that much data would have been impossible in an hour, yet BF1 worked well during the beta.

My data consumption info (on Windows 10, Settings > Network & Internet > Data usage > Usage Details) shows bf1.exe moved 2.01 GB. I've played the game for 21 hours, which equates to about 95 MB per hour mainly during Conquest and Operations sessions. I’m not sure how reliable this metric is, but it seems reasonable. Keep in mind the game requires roughly 40-50 GB to download. Regardless of the usage rate while playing, it won’t approach the initial download size quickly. My Origin stats say I’ve logged 92.7 GB over the past month after downloading BF1 and SW: Battlefront.

I attempted a complete operation game, but it didn't handle data larger than 10MB—great news for me!
