Battlefield 1 performance details
Ensure optimal results as this evaluation was conducted on an i7 5960x
Standard requirements: operating system 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, processor AMD FX-6350 or Intel Core i5 6600K, 8GB RAM, graphics AMD Radeon HD 7850 or nVidia GeForce GTX 660, DirectX 11.0, internet speed over 512 KBPS, 50GB storage space. After testing with an i5 3570K, you should be fine at higher settings.
They seem pretty confused about the gear differences. The 6600K and 6350 have quite a big gap in their specs.
They were evaluating core counts and noticed 6350 offers more cores but a slightly slower clock speed, so they adjusted accordingly.
Almost accurate, but it's not that serious. Spoiler: needing a 5th Gen CPU for "Decent Settings" isn't such a big deal. None of my friends own i7s; most have 4th gen i5s similar to mine (not even close to the 4690). They all handle "Decent Settings" without issues, especially on GPUs. I'm around 70-80% performance across four cores with a locked i5 4690. (Yes, it's a fast locked i5, but that's different from the 6400 model.) My setup has video performance that matches what I expect for the hardware.
The 8GB wasn't sufficient for RAM in "Beta," and I don't understand why it should work now.
