I tried the game on Steam since I had one day left. The requirements look reasonable except for memory usage. However, when I started playing, my computer crashed. At around 20 frames per second on low settings, it was struggling. Is the game more demanding on the GPU or CPU? My system definitely can't cope with it. Here are my specs.

Consider slightly increasing your CPU's performance settings.

From what I've noticed, using those two commands seems to boost frame rates a bit. r.bloomquality 0 r.lightshafts 0 The game remains in alpha, so it's not very optimized. I also experience low FPS.

The game isn't finished yet, it's quite unstable even with 970 SLI.

It doesn't like getting boosted too much. Even a small increase of .2 or .3 ghz pushes it past the 60c threshold.

What is the display resolution? It looks quite limited for your setup—though it’s possible your graphics card is limiting performance. The FX-8350 still supports resolutions like 290x/780Ti.

You can turn off a few processing units to achieve better overclocking performance without adding instability or heat. Start with 2 cores and observe the results, then remove another 2 and check how far you can push it before issues arise. This approach avoids the need to replay the game again.

This game appears to utilize every core, making disabling any of them ineffective even for overclocking other cores.
