This function is built into the CPU and motherboard chipset, meaning the quality of your motherboard doesn't affect it. You only need to ensure your CPU and board support SAM, then you can activate it.

Do you possess the most recent system information for your motherboard? Are you installing the newest chipset software from AMD? What GPU updates have you applied? Have you experimented with turning off Multiplane Overlay MPO and Ultra Low Power State ULPS?
