Comes from someone who has a 5900X, but only if you're aiming for bragging rights or heavy production/virtualization tasks. Most multitasking works well on 6 cores; for even more performance, opt for the 5800X.

If you were streaming on Twitch or playing a VR game, performance might lag occasionally. Someone mentioned needing around 16GB of RAM, which I’m still working on by adding more drives, though I’m not sure if that’s the main issue.
