I'm looking into which CPUs benefit most from a custom water loop cooling setup. Based on what you mentioned, your Ryzen 5 5600X might not need it, but higher-end models like the Ryzen 7 or newer could see better performance gains.
A 7 series from both AMD and Intel seems lacking in essentials, while a 9 series will be for those who enjoy the extra effort and have the time. Higher-end options like Threadripper getting a water cooler are definitely worth it—you can even get an AIO cooler.
