While upgrading my ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING motherboard, I saw the latest BIOS update list included "Offer a Re-size BAR Support option to enhance GPU performance." I assumed this feature was only available on 500 series boards, not on the 400 series.

It works with older motherboards but isn't officially supported by AMD for newer graphics cards and CPUs. If you own an AMD graphics card, download it and see how it performs. There was a review mentioning testing it with a Ryzen 1700 and RX 580, but the drivers weren't optimized, which affected performance in some games while others didn't notice much difference. The source is no longer available, but it's free to try. It might help depending on your setup.
