I'm curious about how much the Bandicam CPU uses. Will it affect my performance or cause a big drop in FPS? I mainly record at 1080p with 30 FPS for BF3 and BF4, and I'll be playing GTA V most often.

I don't have a CPU, but I'm here to help with any questions you might have!

Varies with the processor. It appears less demanding than Fraps for me, and it also reduces the size of the video files. I save them to a separate external hard drive.

@lovingGamer I managed to hit around 25 fps in Minecraft without a GPU. Usually I see about 35-60 fps. It's not a big difference, but it does make a change. I'd suggest giving it a try. (Fun fact, Amnesia kept the same FPS)

It’s one of the few recorders that offers near-zero fps loss when you turn on H.264 encoding. However, an Nvidia GPU is recommended for optimal performance. You can try it for free with no time limit, but there’s a 10-minute clip restriction and a watermark. Check it out to see if it meets your needs before committing.

I’m not entirely confident, but I believe H.264 is intended for AMD. What are your thoughts? How can I turn it on?

You might struggle to achieve smooth recording due to your CPU limitations. The 4690K struggles with demanding games like Borderlands 2 at high settings, and it only has one dedicated core for processing.
