I would prefer improved cooling and a Gen4 SSD. The 970 Evo Plus seems too expensive. You could opt for the 990 Pro for about $5 more if you prefer staying with Samsung. I favor Microcenter's Inland performance plus. It offers better value, warranty, and price. SK-Hynix P41 is another solid choice.
